Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Little Safeguard application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. About Little Safeguard

Little Safeguard is a mobile application developed by Walue LLC ("we," "us," or "our") that provides back seat reminder notifications when you exit your vehicle. The App is designed to work alongside Apple CarPlay (iOS) and Android Auto (Android) to detect the end of a drive and prompt you to check your vehicle's back seat.

2. No Guarantee of Safety

Little Safeguard is a supplemental reminder tool and does not guarantee the prevention of injury, harm, or death. The App:

• Requires a functioning smartphone, active subscription, and compatible vehicle connection (CarPlay or Android Auto)
• May not function correctly if permissions are denied, the phone is powered off, or the connection to CarPlay/Android Auto fails
• Relies on Shortcuts automation (iOS) or Android Auto connection detection, both of which may be affected by software updates, device limitations, or user configuration
• Is not a substitute for the habit of physically checking your vehicle every time you exit

Walue LLC, its developers, officers, and affiliates expressly disclaim all liability for any harm, injury, loss of life, or property damage resulting from reliance on this application, failure of the application to function as expected, or any other cause related to the use or non-use of the App.

3. Subscription and Payment

Little Safeguard is available on a subscription basis:

• Annual plan: $9.99/year with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers
• Monthly plan: $0.99/month

Subscriptions are managed and billed through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). By subscribing, you agree to the respective platform's terms of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. We do not process payments directly and do not have access to your payment information.

Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store or Google Play policies. We do not offer refunds directly.

4. Free Trial

New subscribers to the annual plan receive a 7-day free trial. The trial is available once per Apple ID or Google account. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple and Google, not by Walue LLC.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Little Safeguard only for its intended purpose as a vehicle back seat reminder. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Misrepresent the App's capabilities to others
• Attempt to circumvent subscription requirements

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, branding, and functionality of Little Safeguard are the exclusive property of Walue LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your personal device for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Privacy

Your use of Little Safeguard is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Little Safeguard does not collect, store, or transmit personal data. All app functionality operates entirely on your device.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Walue LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of life, personal injury, property damage, or loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Walue LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Updated terms will be posted in the App and on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
