Little Safeguard is developed by Walue LLC (referred to in this Privacy Policy as we, us, or our). Little Safeguard is a child-safety application designed for parents and caregivers.
This Privacy Policy explains how Little Safeguard handles information when you use the Little Safeguard application on iOS or Android (the App), and when you visit our website, littlesafeguard.com (the Website). Sections 1 through 11 describe the App. Section 12 describes the Website.
The Little Safeguard App does not collect personal information from users.
The App does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, telephone number, physical address, or other personally identifying information.
We do not maintain user profiles or personal user accounts on our servers.
Little Safeguard does not sell, rent, or otherwise provide users' personal information to third parties.
Little Safeguard does not collect, track, store, or transmit your location.
The App does not use GPS or other location information to determine, monitor, record, or transmit the location of you or your child.
Any functionality provided by Little Safeguard does not require the App to know your geographic location.
Little Safeguard may store information locally on your device that is necessary for the App to operate, such as application settings, preferences, and other information needed for the App's functionality.
This information is stored locally on your device and is not collected or transmitted to Walue LLC.
Because this information remains on your device, Walue LLC does not have access to it.
Little Safeguard provides supported vehicle-related functionality through Apple CarPlay on iOS and Android Auto on Android.
These integrations allow supported Little Safeguard functionality to be used through compatible vehicle systems.
Little Safeguard does not use CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, or other vehicle connectivity features to collect, track, store, or transmit your geographic location.
Information processed locally by the App for vehicle-related functionality is not collected by Walue LLC.
Little Safeguard may use notifications to provide safety reminders and other App functionality.
Notifications are handled through the operating system of your device. Little Safeguard does not collect personal information through notifications.
You can control notification permissions through your device's operating-system settings.
A subscription is required to access and use the functionality provided by Little Safeguard.
On Android, subscriptions are purchased and processed through Google Play Billing.
On iOS, subscriptions are purchased and processed through Apple's App Store purchasing system.
Walue LLC does not receive or store users' credit card numbers, debit card numbers, bank account information, payment credentials, or other sensitive payment information.
Payment information and payment transactions are processed by Apple or Google through their respective payment systems and are subject to their own privacy policies and terms.
Little Safeguard does not use payment information for advertising, marketing, or the creation of advertising profiles.
Little Safeguard does not contain advertising.
Little Safeguard does not use personal information for targeted advertising.
The App does not use advertising SDKs or tracking services to create advertising profiles.
We do not sell or rent personal information to advertisers or other third parties.
Little Safeguard relies on platform services provided by Apple and Google for certain aspects of the App, including:
App distribution
Subscription and payment processing
Notifications
CarPlay functionality
Android Auto functionality
Other operating-system and platform services necessary for the App to function
Apple and Google may independently collect and process information when you use their services. Such information is handled by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies and terms.
Information independently collected by Apple or Google for their platform services is not collected by Walue LLC through Little Safeguard.
Little Safeguard is designed primarily for parents and caregivers and is intended to assist them with child-safety-related functionality.
The App does not require children to create accounts or provide personal information to Walue LLC.
Because the Little Safeguard App does not collect personal information from users, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The Website's contact form is intended for adults only.
Parents and caregivers are responsible for determining how the App is used and what information, if any, is entered or stored locally on their device.
Walue LLC does not collect or maintain personal information from Little Safeguard users on its servers.
The App does not maintain personal user accounts or a server-side database of user profiles.
Information that Little Safeguard stores locally on your device remains there until it is deleted by you, the App, or the operating system.
You can generally remove locally stored App information by deleting Little Safeguard from your device.
Subscription and payment records maintained by Apple or Google are subject to Apple's and Google's respective data-retention practices and policies.
Because Little Safeguard does not collect or transmit personal information to Walue LLC, we do not maintain a server-side database containing personal user information collected through the App.
We take reasonable measures to protect the App and the information necessary for its operation.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The Website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking tools of our own. It does handle a small amount of information in the following ways:
Contact form. If you use the contact form, we receive the email address and message you enter. This information is stored in a Google Sheet in our Google account (processed through Google Apps Script) and is used only to respond to you. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list. You can ask us to delete your message at any time by emailing support@littlesafeguard.com. If you prefer, you can email us directly instead of using the form.
Hosting. The Website is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Like any web server, it receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver pages to you.
Third-party content. The Website loads fonts from Google Fonts and the App Store badge image from Apple, so those providers receive your IP address when the page loads. The setup video is embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and loads only if you choose to play it. Links to Instagram, YouTube, Google Play, and the App Store take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our practices, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
